DELEGATES SHOULD WEAR A FACE MASK whenever possible | PRESENTERS & CHAIRS are to wear face masks whilst in their presentation room, except when presenting

Kaurna Cultural Walking Tour: Led by Uncle Frank Wangutya Wanganeen
Thursday 1 September, 7:30-8:30am, meet at North Terrace Entrance, Adelaide Convention Centre

This tour is open to all delegates and there is no need to register. It leaves from the Adelaide Convention Centre, main entrance on North Terrace.

Uncle Frank will take you on a journey through the Convention Centre precinct which will include public artworks and the important Kaurna sites Karra Wirra Pari (Torrens River) and the Adelaide football/cricket grounds. You will visit places of historical significance for Aboriginal Peoples like Government House and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial. Adelaide CBD’s many places and stories of the Kaurna Peoples are overlooked by Mount Lofty where the Creator Being Yurabilla rests.

Presenter and chair briefing notes and other information available here.

COVID-19 safety: wear a fitted face mask whenever possible

The Australian Evaluation Society will take all reasonable steps to provide the safest possible environment for our delegates, supporters, exhibitors, staff and contractors. We are guided by evidence as well as government health and safety measures and are working closely with the venue and all suppliers to plan and implement as safe a conference as is possible.

We urge all delegates to wear a fitted face-mask whenever possible when in the venue.

Presenters: Unless granted an exemption on medical grounds, all aes22 presenters and speakers are to wear a fitted face mask whilst in your presentation room, except for when they are presenting. Hand sanitiser will be available at the lectern to use before and after presenting. Convention Centre staff regularly clean presentation equipment.
