AES Vitality Committee

The AES 2019-2022 strategic plan committed to developing and implementing an inclusion and diversity strategy as in important step in honouring the AES’ organisational vision. As part of this strategic work, the AES Vitality committee has worked with Allen + Clarke to develop a high level Diversity and Inclusion Policy with input from the AES Board, Fellows, Committees and members. The Policy is intended to be a living document that captures the AES’ ongoing commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment, recognising that as a member-based organisation, diversity and inclusion is fundamental to the enrichment all of our activities. At this session, members of the Vitality Committee and Allen + Clarke will step through the process for developing the Policy and the components of the Policy, including the vision, definitions, commitment, roles, actions and accountabilities.
